Vantage acquires Cochranton plumbing company
A longtime medical fixture from Meadville has acquired an enduring plumbing and heating provider based in Cochranton.
Vantage announced last week that it has purchased Deeter Plumbing & Heating. The acquisition means Deeter, located in Cochranton for more than 60 years, will gradually be consolidated with Vantage’s Meadville facilities, according to a statement from the company.
“This partnership is rooted in shared values and a mutual dedication to the communities we serve,” said Adam Nelson, CEO of Vantage Healthcare Network, which has a 40-year history in the area. “Deeter Plumbing & Heating has long been a trusted provider in the region, and we’re proud to welcome them into the Vantage family.”
Deeter’s will maintain operations at its Cochranton location through January before beginning the move to Vantage’s locations. The move allows for greater operational efficiency and the opportunity to serve a broader area, according to the announcement.
“It’s about making comfort more accessible, efficient, and even more cost-effective,” Nelson said. “Annual proactive agreements can ensure your equipment stays operational before the seasons change, partnerships with leading manufacturers will provide financing options for replacements, and landing local resources near our current Vantage locations will ensure faster response times to all service needs.”
The new partnership also allows Deeter to continue its 63-year legacy of service while gaining access to broader support systems and collaborative opportunities.
“We’re excited to join Vantage and continue serving our customers with the same level of care and compassion they’ve come to expect,” a Deeter spokesperson said. “This partnership allows us to grow while staying true to our roots.”
Deeter field technicians and staff will continue their daily routines without interruption and Vantage will open new accounts with the suppliers that Deeter teams are accustomed to, ensuring uninterrupted access to necessary parts and materials, according to the announcement. Electric services will be added in the future, managed services and preventive agreements will be offered, and the customer experience will be taken online with scheduling, communication, billing and payment, and service history to provide a more comprehensive total comfort program.
