Vantage Advanced Litho Care Limited, a member of the Vantage family of
companies, began providing Lithotrispy service using Dornier HM-3 followed
by an MFL-5000. In March 1998 we transitioned our customer base from mobile
service to a Trans-Mobile Service.
We now provide the HMT LithoTron, which is
wheeled directly into the hospital surgery center. This Trans-Mobile
LithoTron has lowered the operating costs enabling us to pass on the savings
to customers. This creates opportunity for smaller hospitals and ambulatory
surgical centers to take advantage of this technology.
Benefits of the Trans-Mobile Service
- No Capital Outlay or Start-Up Costs
- Cuts the Procedure Cost
- No Transportation of Patients To and
From a Mobile Unit
The HMT LithoTron
- Tested and Proven Highly Effective in
FDA Trials
- 4.1% Re-Treatment Rate
- Sets a New Standard for the Treatment of
Kidney Stones
- Transported Into the Hospital for the
Convenience of the Patients and Hospital Staff.
Facts about The LithoTron™
- Spark gap technology, the most reliable
and repeatable form of shock wave generation.
- Lithotron provides excellent image
quality. It allows fluoroscopy to be used at any time with no interruption
of shocks!
- The Focal Zone ellipse is a full 200 mm
wide which reduces the sensation of pain at the skin surface, resulting in
lower anesthesia requirements.
- Trans-mobile technology eliminates the
need to move patients out of the O.R. suite to a mobile trailer because
the unit is brought directly into the hospital or ambulatory surgical
facility.
- FDA approved for non-gated treatments at
a fixed frequency of 120 shocks per minute, thereby increasing patient
throughput significantly.
- It will accommodate patients up to 330
lbs and the focal zone will penetrate up to 150 mm, allowing larger
patients to be treated successfully.
- Its re-treatment rate is only 4.1% (per
FDA studies).
