Breathing treatments administering a medication, called a
bronchodilator, will help to relax bronchoconstriction, or tightening of the
muscles in and around the bronchioles found in the lungs. A Nebulizer set up
includes 1 Air Compressor and 2 Nebulizer Kits.
Air Compressor - Produces airflow to the Nebulizer Kit.
Nebulizer Kit - A small plastic cup-like device that medication is
placed into. When connected to an air compressor, will produce a mist
(aerosol) that is inhaled and drawn into the lungs, where the medication will
relax the bronchial muscles and improve ventilation.
