Clinical Respiratory Visits

Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) perform individualized patient assessments to determine home medical needs. During a clinical visit, the RCP performs the following assessments: Vital Signs and Respiratory, Neurological, Nutritional, Functional, Psychosocial, and Safety on the patient's living environment. All oxygen patient's living environment. All oxygen patients receive an Initial Clinical Respiratory follow Up. Other patients may receive a Clinical RT Follow Up/Visit if needed.

The patient, patient family member, or VHRS employee may notify the Respiratory Department, and the patient will be assessed in a timely manner.
