Infusion Delivery Pumps

Medications are delivered using infusion delivery devices and small computerized pumps designed for the home care environment. Electronic pumps are programmed by the pharmacist to deliver the right dose at the right time. Some pumps are remotely programmable so that trouble shooting can be done without sending a pharmacist or nurse to the home. Patients can call at any time and be helped through a dose by telephone.
