Brief Overview of Vantage®

Vantage® is a partnership among non-profit community hospitals. Started in 1984, Vantage's mission is to develop partnership services, formally structured with commitment to share risk and revenue. The partnership meets the needs of the initiating organization and then forms a for-profit company to bring the service to the general marketplace. Positive returns and self-supporting operations are expected. The Vantage® goal is to create savings and increase shareholder value. In July 2002, Vantage® combined several of its companies into the Vantage® Holding Company, LLC.

          The Opportunity

Vantage® uses a systematic process that allows a better use of scarce resources by partnering. The Vantage® sense of partnering is a formal commitment and an investment. A return on this investment is expected. This provides owners with the opportunity to create its future alongside the best hospitals as partners.
